I'm a Southern California-based artist and the creator behind Eglinton Studio.
For most of my career, I've worked in the corporate world, helping organizations build programs that support and develop their people. Painting came into my life much later, first as a creative outlet and eventually as a passion that I couldn't ignore.
I'm still early in my journey as an artist, and that's something I embrace. Every piece I create is part of an ongoing process of learning, experimenting, and discovering my own voice. What started as a curiosity has grown into a daily practice and a meaningful part of my life.
My work is inspired by color, texture, architecture, nature, and the spaces we live in. I create contemporary abstract paintings that balance structure with spontaneity, often using layered acrylics, bold contrasts, and subtle details to create pieces that feel both modern and inviting.
More than anything, I want my artwork to make people feel something. Whether that's a sense of calm, curiosity, energy, or simply a connection to a space they love, my hope is that each painting becomes a meaningful part of someone's home or workplace.
Thank you for visiting and for being part of this journey with me.
